1. ARMING ERROR
An error tone will sound if the system is unable to arm. This will happen in the system is not ready to arm, (a
door is open or movement in front of a motion detector) or if an incorrect user code has been entered. If this happens press the (#) and try again.
NOTE: Any time you press the * and any other number you will need to press the
# to return to normal operation. Also if an error is made when entering your code press the # to clear it out and return to normal. If the keypad is beeping press the # to
silence.
2. BYPASS A ZONE
To bypass any zone press *1 then the two digit zone number then #.
(example: *1 01 #, to bypass zone 1)
The bypass indicator should remain on. After you arm and disarm the system the bypass will
clear.
3. CHIME
Press and hold the CHIME button on the right to turn the CHIME feature ON and OFF.
4. CODES
Press * then 5, then your master code, then the two digit number of the user number that you wish to add or
change. Then enter the new 4 digit code. (example: *5 - master code - user number (2-6) - new code - #)
There are 6 user codes available and the master code is in position 1. To change the master code press *5
current code, then 1, then the new code and #. (example: *5 - master code - 01- new code - #)
To erase a code press *5, enter the master code, enter the user
number you wish to delete, press the (****), 4 times and then press #.
5. DISARMING ERROR
If you enter an incorrect code the system will not disarm, press the (#) and enter the correct code.
4. FALSE ALARM
If the alarm was accidental, enter your Access Code to silence the alarm, then call your monitoring station to avoid a dispatch.
5. INSTANT ARM
Press * then 9 and enter your code to arm the system without any entry delay time.
NOTE: This has no effect on the exit time delay.
(When using the *9 Instant arm you will still have whatever exit time to leave, but there will not be any entry time delay.)
6. MEMORY
When an alarm occurs the Memory indicator will turn on, To view which zone caused the alarm press the * then 3. When finished press # to return to normal.
7. SMOKE DETECTOR RESET
Press and hold the RESET button on the right.
8. TROUBLE
When a trouble condition is detected the Trouble indicator will turn on and the keypad will beep every 10 seconds. Press the # to silence the beeps. Press the * then 2 in order to view the trouble
condition, each zone indicates a different problem. Below are the trouble conditions by number which they will appear on the touch pad.
NOTE: When viewing the trouble condition on an LED touch pad the zone lights will light up to indicate the trouble. If you are viewing the trouble on an LCD touch pad the trouble will read out on the screen.

1 | LOW BATTERY | Call for service or replace the back up battery in the main control box.

2 | AC POWER FAILURE | Check to see if your transformer is plugged in. Check your fuse box or circuit breakers for a popped fuse. Call for service if trouble does not clear. |
3 | FUSE TROUBLE | Call for service. |
4 | FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE | This trouble will be cleared if the system tries to call the monitoring station again and is able to complete the call. If this trouble does not clean itself automatically, call for service. |
5 | FIRE CIRCUIT TROUBLE | Call for service. |
6 | LOSS OF TIME IN THE SYSTEM CLOCK | See User Functions/ Time and Date |
9. USER FUNCTIONS/TIME AND DATE
(example: *6 - master code - 1 - HH-MM-MM-DD-YY - #)
Press the * then 6, enter the master code, press 1 then the time; HOURS, MINUTES, MONTH, DAY and YEAR. Then #. Time should be entered in Military format. EXAMPLE: *6 master code -1-10-05-03-01-06 - #
(10:05 am March 01, 2006) for 10:05 PM enter 22-05-03-01-06)
**If you have the LCD touch pad, press the * then 6, enter your master code then use the < > to TIME AND DATE. Press * to select then change the time. Press # to return to normal.
